My husband and I have made our home in the peaceful mountains of Western North
Carolina since 1992 where we worked together in the running of our home remodeling
business. Together we have built 4 homes and renovated another as well as renovated
countless homes for clients. I have always taken an active part in the design and
building of these homes. From hanging ridge rafters to laying hardwood floors, I have
gained a great deal of respect and understanding of what goes into a well-built home.
This love of homes and home construction is what led me to become a Real Estate
Broker in 2003 and later a General Contractor. I am also active in canine sports,
competing with my golden retrievers and organizing obedience trials as well as serving
on the board (past treasurer) of the Sandlapper Golden Retriever Club. In addition, I
am a stained glass artist and I take much pride and satisfaction in designing and
creating glass art that I often donated to benefit rescues and canine health research.
Since starting my Real Estate Career long ago, I have won many sales awards and
more importantly to me, several Quality Service Awards. For several years I was Broker
in Charge of a small office, managing 9 other agents. Feeling the need to get back to
what I love about real estate, I stepped down as the managing broker in 2017 so I could
concentrate on my clients and their needs as a Broker Associate. I am now working
with Sterling Real Estate Partners because of their creativity, marketing technology,
customer service and their stellar reputation in the Asheville and surrounding markets.
I specialize in Residential Homes, Small Farms and Land Tracks with a special passion
for Vintage Homes. When marketing a Vintage home, or helping a buyer with a
purchase of one, you can expect a full essay on the "genealogy" of your home. One of
my many obsessions is tracking the history of Asheville's older homes. My years
working as a carpenters assistant as well as my beginnings in the marketing field will be
used to your benefit when you are selling or buying a home. Of course for dog owners,
my 20+ years of training and competing with my own dogs has given me an
understanding that often a fenced yard for Puppy is not enough. Sometimes we need a
bit more. For both sellers and buyers I recognize the unique needs that many of us
have for ourselves and with our homes.
Choosing a Realtor that you can work with and trust is very important. They are assisting you in the buying or selling of one of your largest assets. Your Realtor is your advocate in this sale. My goal with every real estate transaction is to make the process enjoyable and to ensure my clients leave the closing table with a smile on their face.

Tyler "Tanglewood's Rowan Tree"
Tyler is trained through utility but decided a couch potato was a better life. As one friend best described her, "she is so sweet you will get a tooth ache!" That's our girl!
|
Tripp "Lyric Blue Highways, BN"
Tripp was the puppy I had to have. He stole my heart from day one. Tripp retired from showing at an early age due to a bad foot but that doesn't stop him from hitting the hiking trails and being the best pup in the world!

Then there is us!
After over 30 years, we are still best friends! Exploring Liverpool together and seeing all the Beatles haunts was a dream come true.
|
Toke "Lycinan Smokin' in the Boys Room"
Toke is the new kid on the block with a bright future ahead of him! We picked him to join our family and to enjoy a future in performance dog sports. He is truly my dream come true puppy!
