About your
Town and Mountain Realtor
NC Real Estate License #210499
NC General Contractors License #77228

I am a  member of:
the National Association of Realtors
the North Carolina Association of Realtors
the Land of Sky Regional Board of Realtors
and numerous golden retriever and dog training clubs
including the Sandlapper Golden Retriever Club (President)
Asheville Kennel Club
and the Golden Retriever Club of America
I am a 13+ year veteran of real estate in the Asheville market. My husband and I have
made our home in the peaceful mountains of Western North Carolina since 1992 where
we worked together in the running of our home remodeling business. Together we have
built 4 homes and renovated another as well as renovated countless homes for clients. I
have always taken an active part in the design and building of these homes. From
hanging ridge rafters to laying hardwood floors, I have gained a great deal of respect
and understanding of what goes into a well-built home. This love of homes and home
construction is what led me to become a Real Estate Broker in 2003 and later a
General Contractor. I am also active in canine sports, competing with my golden
retrievers and organizing obedience trials as well as serving on the board (current
President) of the Sandlapper Golden Retriever Club.  In addition, I am a stained glass
artist and I take much pride and satisfaction in designing and creating glass art that I
often donated to benefit rescues and canine health research.

Since starting my Real Estate Career long ago, I have won many sales awards and
more importantly to me, several Quality Service Awards. For several years I was Broker
in Charge of a small office, managing 9 other agents. Feeling the need to get back to
what I love about real estate, I am now concentrating on
my clients and their needs as
a Broker Associate. I chose to work with Town & Mountain Realty because of their
history in this community and their stellar reputation in the Asheville and surrounding
markets. I specialize in Residential Homes, Small Farms and Land Tracks that fit the
needs of individuals and families with dogs and other companion animals. My time
spent training and competing with my own dogs has given me an understanding that
often a fenced yard for Puppy is not enough. Sometimes we need a bit more. For both
sellers and buyers I recognize the unique needs that our companion animals bring to
the equation.
Choosing a Realtor that you can work with and trust is very important.
They are assisting you in the buying or selling of one of your largest
assets. Your Realtor is your advocate in this sale.  My goal with every
real estate transaction is to make the process enjoyable and to ensure
my clients leave the closing table with a smile on their face.
Meet the Family!
"Tanglewood's Rowan Tree"
aka - Miss Smarty Pants

Tyler is still a pup and yet she is
excelling in upper levels of
obedience work. But don't ask
her to heel!  What the heck is
that all about?
"Lyric Blue Highways, BN"

Tripp was the puppy I had to
have. He stole my heart from day
one. After a very long hiatus due
to an injury, we are now hitting
the ring to get his novice titles.
"Gaylans Stony Creek Gambler,

Truly is the old lady of the house
with her showing days well over.
She taught me that not every
dog loves the show scene so we
dabbled in tracking. Truly loves
open spaces and no fuss!
Then there is us!

After nearly 29 years, we
are still best friends!
Exploring Liverpool
together and seeing all the
Beatles haunts was a
dream come true.
and then there are the "Bridge Kids"

1. Tyler was our first golden retriever. She introduced me to the
world of dog sports. She was one of the best!

2. Tucker - "U-CDX Gaylans Stony Lonesome UD, CCA" he was
my heart and soul. We were working on UDX legs and OTCH
points when I retired him. He was strong, confident and the best
partner I could ever ask for.

3. Maggie - adopted at age nine from
Foothills Golden Retriever
Rescue, we had this wonderful senior for 5 very special years!

4.  Tag was the heart and soul of the family. He was Don's
special boy who we lost way too young to cancer
